TEMPLE BAR AREA

Temple Bar has an international reputation for an amazing nighttime economy, with some of the best bars and restaurants in the world. If you have the time however, it is worth exploring Temple Bar for more than what it has to offer after dark.

The area is the location of many Irish cultural institutions, including the Irish Photography Centre (incorporating the Dublin Institute of Photography, the National Photographic Archives and the Gallery of Photography), the Ark Children's Cultural Centre, the Irish Film Institute, incorporating the Irish Film Archive, the Temple Bar Music Centre, the Arthouse Multimedia Centre, Temple Bar Gallery and Studio, the Project Arts Centre, and the Gaiety School of Acting.

It is also home to an amazing array of shops, bespoke retailing that you won't find on high street. If you are looking for vintage clothing, some ink, bespoke jewelry, a refurbished vintage bike, organic wooden furniture, uniquely crafted Irish gifts, look no further than Temple Bar.
